Cloud Solutions
We’ve worked with cloud solutions for a number of years and have built up a broad understanding of systems that can really bring benefit to customers. Whether it’s a fully cloud environment, individual hosted service or hybrid deployment we have experience in the requirements for each of these.
What we’ve come to understand is that there is no one solution that fits every business. Whilst we can provide some cloud solutions directly ourselves, we also frequently work with clients’ external software providers to ensure people can access the cloud solutions they use in a secure manner.
Support
We see the support side of our business as the most critical element of what we offer. This starts with people and we always focus on the personality of the individual during recruitment, ensuring that they share our passion for providing high quality customer service. Our support team is made up of technology enthusiasts who provide dedicated support to our customers.
We run a helpdesk which covers office hours (Monday-Friday / 9am-5pm) throughout the year, only closing on the festive public holidays. We ensure our team are available to you for high priority cases and will always respond in a professional manner and focus on resolving whatever issue you may have.
We ensure that our team have the right tools to provide support in a secure manner and have a range of support offerings available to customers including Managed Service Agreements where we shall pro-actively monitor and maintain your systems as well as providing you with key software on a subscription basis.
Security
There is an ever-increasing focus on Cyber Security and we’ve adopted various approaches to bringing valuable services to our customers.
We primarily build our Cyber Security offerings around the National Cyber Security Centre “Cyber Essentials” scheme and would shape an approach around their five controls:
- Firewalls
- Secure Configuration
- User Access Control
- Malware Protection
- Security Update Management
We offer consultancy towards completion of the Cyber Essentials and Plus schemes, as well as being able to offer on-going compliance for your organisation by structuring a Managed Service Agreement in line with your cyber security policy.
The security focused partners we work with include: Microsoft, ID Cyber Solutions, TD Synnex, Webroot and Lookout.
Email is a vital service for businesses and we will always review this as part of a client engagement.
We work with Microsoft 365 as our primary email service and can configure this in secure manner for you. Not one size fits all and our team are well experienced in supporting existing email services via Google or independent IMAP/POP configurations.
We can review your email system and provide guidance on any suggested improvements around security, delivery reputation, connectivity, mobility and backup. Where Microsoft 365 email is a good fit we provide setup, configuration and migration services.
Voice
Business communications are always changing and voice remains a key element of this. How and where we use voice solutions is however changing and we have adopted a fully cloud hosted solution to voice.
We provide a voice telephony solution which is fully integrated in to Microsoft Teams, providing users with a hugely flexible and reliable service. Since 2020 we have provided Microsoft Teams Direct Routing in partnership with our communications partner Focus Group.
We can setup your fully hosted voice solution for use via the Teams software as well as via Teams compatible phone hardware, in some instances this can include existing supported VoIP phone hardware.
Backups
As part of any IT strategy backups are always a core element, though often overlooked or under specified. With our Managed Service Agreement customers we will implement a backup solution and then continually monitor this for you and can include test restore and disaster recovery testing as part of this.
We work with two backup providers, Veeam and Skykick, and will build a strategy for backup around the most appropriate service.
Licensing
We work with our network of suppliers and solution partners to provide you with the majority of core IT licensing needed for your day to day services.
We can directly provide licensing of the following:

We also regularly will assist clients with third party line of business application licensing where required.

Hardware
We have very well established supplier relationships and are able to supply a range of IT hardware for your business. Where we have a Managed Service Agreement in place we can also provide inventory reports of your servers and computer equipment to help plan your IT spend going forward.

Our team of technical staff are able to troubleshoot IT equipment when required, whether it be a failed network port or dead server our team can an assess hardware issues, provide feedback and plan the best course of action to get you up and running again.
Being based in the North of Scotland we also provide remote hands support for various organisations as we can provide a skilled technical resource to troubleshoot problems at remote sites.
